IRAN: Warrant for arrest against a reformer

Iranian justice launched a warrant for arrest against the journalist Massoud Behnoud, condemned to 19 month of prison for "attack with national safety". Journalist and famous historian, Massoud Behnoud had publicly called into question of the significant questions of the Islamic Republic, in particular the port of the Islamic behaviour for the women, and had taken party for reforming president Khatami, elected in 1997. That had already cost him several months of imprisonment in 2000 and 2001, at the time of the vagueness of arrests of journalists and massive suspensions of newspapers in Iran, before being released in bond legal. Its judgment was confirmed by the Court of Appeal. Currently abroad, the journalist will thus be stopped as of his possible return in Iran. In 3 years, 82 titles were suspended in Iran.
